With the Dropdown block, your visitors can choose filter the results using a straightforward dropdown.

Add a select to your loop.
To add a dropdown filter, add the Dropdown block to your loop. You can place the block anywhere within the Better Loop, but in most cases you’ll want to place it somewhere above or besides the Post Template block.
Settings
The block has a number of settings to change its behavior:

| Source | The source of the filter (e.g. post types or a taxonomy). |
| Hide label | Hides the visible label above the filter. |
| Label | This field appears only when hiding the label, and lets you set a hidden label for visitors that use screen readers or other assistive technologies. |
| Default label | The label to show when nothing is selected (defaults to “Any”). |
